About the vacancy
To support our further worldwide growth, we are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable and Purchase Order administrator to join our Financial Department. You will be positioned to form a reliable colleague for our internationally operating team. The SSC team works on the day-to-day accounting for one or more NewCold entities in line with the policies and guidelines for the shared service center of NewCold and works to support the project team with day-to-day administration related activities. This team's activities include amongst others processing of supplier invoices, creation of purchase orders for suppliers in coordination with project management, preparation of payments. You will report to the Manager SSC Accounting and will work together with the rest of the SSC team. You will be based in the company's headquarters in Breda.
What will you do?
- Manage daily AP inbox by reviewing invoices, routing to proper folders and ensuring the inbox is maintained and cleared out by the end of every day
- Daily processing of supplier invoices for our NewCold entities in Poland and United Kingdom
- Vendor setup and maintenance
- Create Purchase Orders and Change Orders
- Monitor and follow-up on open Purchase Orders for project reporting
- Assist with month-end close
- Assist in various ad-hoc projects for the SSC team
Who are we looking for?
You are a finance professional who is ready for a next step in his/her career. You are eager to learn new skills, share what you know, expand your network and contribute to the continued growth of NewCold. You have an affinity for financial accounting, preferably you have relevant experience with working in an international environment.
In addition you have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of previous accounts payable administration working in a high-volume environment (preferably in an international organization)
- Comfort with working in a fast-paced transaction-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly proficient in English
- Knowledge of Polish language is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and willing (and able) to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility
- Can take on multiple projects/tasks and problem solve
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to follow up on pending issues and meet deadlines
