For the European HQ of a globally active and publicly listed company we are recruiting 2 Seniors Accounts Receivable. In this role you are responsible for controlling the work of the Accounts Receivable Administrators and report to the Accounts Receivable Manager.
Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Senior is responsible for processing a high volume of accounts receivable transactions. The primary mandate for the Senior will be to ensure outstanding receivables remain within company targets, and that appropriate accounts receivable processes and systems are adhered to within the department and accounts. May be responsible for larger volume generating accounts and reviewing the specialist's work.
- Responsible for confirming deposits and payments;
- Uploads transactions and enter all accounting adjustments including deductions, price adjustments, collapses, sales tax, pilferage;
- Processes refunds for overpayments, bid deposits, collapses, price adjustments, and tax adjustments;
- Ensures appropriate authorizations and policies are adhered to with respect to adjustments;
- Generates invoices to bill customers, consignors and intercompany subsidiaries.
- Notifies departments regarding pertinent receivable balances, adjustments and holdbacks in accordance with timelines;
- Scrutinize aging of accounts receivable and provide input to management for determining allowance for doubtful accounts (AFDA) per policy;
- Responsible for reconciling AR sub-ledger to general ledger;
- Assist with month end closing and reporting and process monthly finance charges as applicable.
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of accounts receivable experience and experience working in an office environment;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships;
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Organized, detailed-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to always meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated experience working well as a member of a team.
Salary and Benefits
Salary between €45k - €58 a year + annual bonus, company shares, pension plan, health insurance, commute & work from allowance, hybrid working (2 days from home).
