About Borealis Hotel Group:
Borealis Hotel Group is a leading hospitality company managing a diverse portfolio of hotels across Europe, representing renowned brands such as Accor, IHG, Hilton and Marriott. We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Area Sales Manager Netherlands (f/m/d) to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our Dutch properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new customers across all market segments
- Conduct research, qualify leads, and identify opportunities using sales analysis tools (e.g. Agency360)
- Manage and develop existing customer relationships through regular contact, visits, and networking
- Conduct annual contract negotiations, business reviews, RFPs and framework agreements in cooperation with Revenue Managers and General Managers
- Organize and lead site inspections, customer events, presentations etc.
- Work closely with hotel teams, revenue managers, the marketing manager and the Area Director of Sales to align commercial strategies
- Support the preparation of annual Sales & Marketing Plans and budgets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer reputation
- Participate in and contribute to sales and strategy meetings etc.
- Contribute to online and social media marketing campaigns together with the Digital Marketing Manager
- Participate in cross-departmental projects and bring forward innovative ideas to support business growth

Job Requirements
As an Area Sales Manager(f/m/d), you will be responsible for driving sales activities across our hotels in the Netherlands, with a strong focus on acquiring new customers, strengthening existing relationships, and maximizing revenue. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with multiple international hotel brands and to collaborate closely with our hotel teams, revenue managers, and commercial leaders. You will play a key role in shaping sales & marketing strategies and bringing creative, hands-on initiatives to life.
Who are you?
- You are pro-active, customer-focused and commercially driven
- You have several years of professional experience in sales, ideally within the hotel industry
- You are fluent in English and Dutch (additional languages are an advantage)
- You have strong organizational skills, a structured and creative mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit
- You are confident in making decisions, prioritizing effectively, and keeping a clear focus on results
- You demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills with a professional appearance
