So we've made sure the time you do spend at the Moxy is jam packed full of more fun than you thought you could have at a hotel. We've done our homework. Or rather we gave it to some of the best design teams around. We asked them to get nosy and discover what people love, play with or couldn't care less about, while at a hotel. That's how we found out that most people never use their closets. And, while we've kept room for your stuff, we nipped more than a few solid inches for a sweet 42” TV and an even sweeter bed.We also discovered that, like us, most people won't waste a moment on instant coffee. That's why we brew fresh joe downstairs in the lobby. There we've got you covered 24/7, with grab- and-go bites, low tech play time, and crafted cocktails. #atthemoxy there's everything you would expect, and plenty you wouldn't, from a boutique hotel.
Job Description
What if your internship was more than just checking boxes? What if it sets the tone for your career in hotel operations? 🚀At Moxy, we're all about bold moves, playful vibes, and getting things done. As Assistant Operations Manager Trainee, you'll step right into the heartbeat of the hotel, working alongside the Operations Manager and our Crew Leaders to make sure everything runs as smoothly as your morning latte. From Front Office to F&B, from guest experience to operational logistics; no two days look the same (and that's exactly how we roll). Starting from February 2026, this could be your reality. What you'll do
- Support daily operational planning across departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B).
- Help monitor performance indicators
- Jump into problem-solving and guest satisfaction initiatives
- Assist with coordinating shifts, team communications and meetings.
- Take on operational projects to improve efficiency, productivity and guest experience.
- Assist with administrative tasks & reporting (think occupancy, feedback, productivity).
- Champion the Moxy vibe—help organize team events and boost crew engagement. 🎉
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager

Why this internship?You'll be right in the middle of the action; working closely with senior operations and hotel teams. You'll learn how a lifestyle hotel runs from the inside out, how leaders make decisions, and what it takes to create memorable guest experiences while keeping things operationally tight. Job Requirements
What you bring
- You're currently studying Hospitality/Business/Management (HBO).
- Passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences.
- Experience in operations or F&B/Front Office is a plus (but passion counts even more).
- You love organizing, solving problems, and keeping things moving.
- You're proactive, hands-on, and not afraid to ask questions.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy teamwork.
- Strong communicator—fluent in English
- Moxy mindset: energetic, curious, and never boring. 💥
