As Bakery associate at Albert Heijn, you'll be working in the bread department. You'll become an expert in bread and will be able to tell customers all about it. Customers expect product knowledge and the best advice from you. This means knowing exactly which bread is gluten-free and being able to distinguish sturdy dark multigrain bread from white tiger bread 😊. All of this served with a big smile.
For this role, you should enjoy helping people and knowing everything about your products. You'll work in a great team, and you'll find that many of your colleagues will also become your friends. Experience in the supermarket is not necessary but is a bonus.
This job is perfect as a part-time role, for instance, alongside your school or studies. Your schedule is flexible and can be arranged in consultation with your manager. Of course, you can also occasionally swap shifts with a colleague if that works better for you.
What will you earn?
Your salary is determined according to the collective labor agreement (CAO). If you work 12 hours or less per week, you'll receive an all-in hourly wage. If you work 13 hours or more (up to 40) per week, you'll receive an hourly wage according to the CAO and will be entitled to vacation or advisory hours.
