There are 2 vacancies for operators:

• Baker

A baker is responsible for operating the machines that weigh and mix dough, as well as the machines that shape and bake cookies. 

He must have some technical understanding, be able to work with recipes displayed on a screen (weighing ingredients), follow instructions carefully, and set the correct settings on the machine. He must have a hands-on attitude. Keeping his workstation and work environment clean is very important. He must not stand still, but be and remain active. 

• Some technical experience is important;
• Setting up and, if necessary, reconfiguring the machine according to the schedule;
• Operating and adjusting the baking machine during the production process;
• Understanding how the dough should feel and being able to intervene to adjust the dough so that it is easy to work with;
• Troubleshooting minor malfunctions;
• Working accurately and carefully
• Able to drive an EPT (not required)
• Willing to work in two shifts

Extra information:

• Hygiene is the top priority! This applies to both the workplace and personal hygiene;
• Women are not allowed to have long nails or wear jewelry;
• You must wear a hairnet and an apron at all times;
• Men with beards must wear a beard net (Preference: no beard)
• It’s not hard work, but you must stay busy at all times. Keeping your workstation 100% clean is extremely important.

• Nora Biscuit follows the Collective Labor Agreement for the Confectionery Industry (see attachment in Dutch). 
• All positions (except packaging operator) start in Job Group 4: €16.58
• Travel allowance of €0.23 for distances between 5-30 km one way.
• Shift allowance is: 38% and 39% (only at night shift),
• Saturday allowance 150% (08:00-15:00), 183% (15:00- 22:00), 210% (22:00-00:00)
• Sunday allowance 210% (00:00- 22:00), 138% (22:00- 00:00)
