Organisation
Hilton The Hague ligt in het historische Mesdag Kwartier, in een rustige omgeving en centraal gelegen in het oude stadcentrum. De omgeving wordt gekarakteriseerd door de vele ambassades. Daarnaast zijn de parlementsgebouwen en ministeries op loopafstand van het hotel gesitueerd. Hilton The Hague is een vijfsterren hotel wat beschikt over 195 zeer luxueuze kamers van minimaal 31m² en hiermee de ruimste in Den Haag. Er zijn verschillende kamers beschikbaar, zoals “long-stay” kamers inclusief kitchenette, Deluxe rooms, Executive rooms en suites waaronder Junior Suites, Royal Suite en Presidential Suite.Hilton Den Haag is gevestigd in het voormalige hoofdkantoor van de Nederlandse post en heeft naast ruime hotel kamers ook restaurant en bar BlueBlood met een terras aan het water. Ze hebben een 24-uurs fitnesscentrum, Executive lounge en een veelzijdige vergaderruimte.

Job Description
 BlueBlood bar is looking for fresh blood, are you are new Bar Supervisor? As Bar Supervisor of BlueBlood, you know it is not just about mixing drinks. It is all about creating a memorable and unique experience for our guests. Together with the BlueBlood Management, you focus on implementing new trends, using local offerings and loads of creativity. You are not just a beverage enthusiast; you are a specialist with a loving heart for our guests. You will supervise the bar service to offer a high quality, efficient service that adds to a memorable guest experience and is according licensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages. Diving into a bit more detail, your responsibilities include:-       Maintain an effective bar service with an emphasis on high quality and efficient service;-       Support, Guide and most importantly inspire your team;-       Check that Guest service standards are set, implemented and monitored, and continuously evaluated and if needed to be adjusted;-       Set-up of the outlet according to the pre-determined standards of the operation;-       Comply with licensing regulations and hotel procedures relating to the bar and service of alcoholic beverages and conduct staff training sessions accordingly;-       Demonstrate a perfect knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how beverages are prepared (to recipe) and presented, and how Team Members are trained to possess this knowledge and the application of it;-       Ensure compliance with and the proper training of all Team Members so that all Company Health and Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures are understood and applied;-       Ensure all Team Members are impeccably presented and adhere to the correct uniform standards;-       Deal with sudden staff shortages through absenteeism and report all absences according to Company Procedures;-       Complete all necessary administration according to the  Company procedures relating to all Team Members;-       Maximize revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling, high customer service standards, effective training, and motivational techniques.Why be hooked?-         An opportunity like no other to leave your mark and be highly involved in a (pre) opening process;-         Work in a concept like no other with a dynamic and innovative atmosphere;-         Proper salary;-         Expand your network and growth opportunities worldwide;-         Discounted rates on Hilton hotels worldwide;-         Work at a Great Place To Work;-         Have the support of a professional and experienced team and brand. Will you be our next big catch? Job Requirements
The blood type we're looking for:-         Someone born to serve our guests. A truly service-minded extrovert with a bunch of hospitality and mixology experience;-         A resilient person, especially in times of high workload;-         Flexible attitude and sees what needs to be done;-         Responsible and independent, with a positive attitude;-         Great organizational and coordinating skills;-         Excellent communication skills, both Dutch and English;-         Loves storytelling and taking our guests on a culinary journey;-         Preferably a local hero with a strong network within The Hague area.
