- You are a "people-person" - you always have that smile on your face, you are friendly, nice and humble.
- You know more than just the basic service skills, you will deliver great service
- You know all about trends, cocktails and products to use
- You have impeccable service skills
- You are a seller, you know how to sell and upsell
Job Description:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
- Welcome guests, take drink orders, and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, shelves, and equipment.
- Restock beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout the shift.
- Handle payments, operate the cash register/POS system, and issue receipts.
- Check identification to ensure guests meet legal drinking age requirements.
- Clean and wash glassware and tools after use.
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and company standards.
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar/kitchen at the beginning and end of each shift.
Job Requirements
We're looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:
- Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
- Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
- Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service
- Know being relaxed isn't the same as being lazy
- Clear communicator fluent in Dutch and English (and other languages a plus!)
Useful Experience
- Experience within the service industry
- Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
- Personal experience of travel and travel industry
