Job Description

At Bausch + Lomb, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape and launch one of Europe's most advanced distribution centers. The building is brand new. The equipment is state-of-the-art. The systems are being implemented from scratch. And this is where you come in. As WMS IT Manager, you will be a key player in the implementation of our Blue Yonder WMS at our new site in Aalsmeer. This is not your typical IT role—it's a strategic, high-impact position in a global organization where you'll make a difference from day one.

We're moving to a new facility in Aalsmeer that's currently under construction, designed to elevate our service with the latest technologies. Your role is crucial in bringing this transformation to life.

You'll be the vital link between business, IT, and operations. As Business Process Owner, you're the architect behind all BY WMS processes at the new site. You'll lead the implementation, guide local IT teams, and bridge operations, IT, and strategy. With a sharp focus on process optimization and a strong say in technical architecture, you'll translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the full design and implementation of Blue Yonder WMS at our new Aalsmeer site.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and strategic point of contact for vendors, internal stakeholders, and the board.
  • Develop global best practices for warehouse management and ensure consistency across regions.
  • Manage seamless integrations with ERP, TMS, and TGW systems.
  • Oversee multiple projects, managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Job Requirements

You're a natural connector who brings people together. You communicate easily with all levels of the organization—from warehouse teams to senior leadership—and you're not afraid of critical discussions. You're known for your mix of assertiveness and empathy: tough on content, kind in relationships.

You bring:

  • At least 8 years of IT experience in warehousing or supply chain environments.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS System.
  • Proven experience with system integrations involving WMS, ERP, TMS, or TGW.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's level of thinking (in IT, Supply Chain, or Business).
  • Excellent command of English; Dutch is a plus.

Salary and Benefits

This role offers strategic exposure across our global operations, with strong growth potential and a healthy work-life balance. You'll be working in a high-tech environment with the latest innovations and a pathway to a permanent contract.

You can also expect:

  • A competitive salary based on your experience and education.
  • A 1-year contract (37.5 hours/week), with the prospect of a permanent position.
  • Free contact lenses and tax benefits for fitness or nutritional advice.
  • A 13th-month bonus and 8% holiday allowance, and an additional bonus.
  • €0.23/km travel allowance (max. 70 km) or full reimbursement of public transport costs.
  • 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment).
