To help us in our mission we are looking for a Business Analyst, for our offices in either Arnhem or Berlin.
With your colleagues you will find out how best to further develop a service that is scalable and loved by our clients. Here are some of the responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, developers, and end-users, to elicit and document clear and comprehensive business requirements for our EV charging SaaS platform.
2. Process Mapping and Optimization:
- Analyze and document existing business processes related to EV charging operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the SaaS platform.
3. Data Analysis:
- Conduct data analysis to extract insights and support decision-making related to user behavior, system performance, and overall platform effectiveness.
- Work closely with data engineers to define data requirements and ensure data integrity.
4. User Story Development:
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure a clear understanding of business needs and objectives.
5. Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate that implemented features meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with QA teams to conduct thorough testing and ensure a high level of software quality.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process workflows, system requirements, and user manuals.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders, including the sales team and clients.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and objectives.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, challenges, and solutions.
A skilled IT business analyst has a mix of abilities, qualities, and know-how, as listed in the tasks you will be doing. These skills help them connect what the business needs with the right IT solutions effectively. We would love to hear great stories about your previous projects!
Salary and Benefits
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the SaaS or EV charging industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Proficient in data analysis using tools such as SQL or business intelligence platforms.
- You are an EU citizen and reside near Berlin or Arnhem. This is not a remote position.
