Location: Support Office Amstelveen / Hotels
Job Summary:
As a Cluster Sales Executive (f/m/d), you will drive sales activities across 2 hotels in the Amsterdam area, representing internationally recognized brands such as IHG and Accor. You will focus on acquiring new business, strengthening existing client relationships, and maximizing revenue across both properties.
This role is hands-on, client-facing, and collaborative, involving regular visits to clients, hotel properties, and close partnership with hotel teams, Revenue Managers, the Marketing Manager, and the Area Director of Sales. Together, you will align commercial strategies and bring impactful, creative sales initiatives to life.
You will specifically support and represent:
- Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – City Hall
- Ibis Budget Amsterdam City South
In addition to contributing to the success of these 2 hotels, this role offers a strong opportunity for career expansion, with the possibility to grow within the cluster and broader Netherlands hotel portfolio over time.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Skills:
1–2 years of sales experience, ideally within the hotel industry
A proactive, customer-focused, and commercially driven mindset
Strong organizational skills with a structured yet creative approach
Fluent in English/Dutch (additional languages are an advantage)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Confident decision-maker with the ability to prioritize and stay focused on results
Self-motivated, flexible, and open to occasional travelKey Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with new and existing clients
Lead annual contract negotiations and manage the full RFP process
Organize and participate in sales events, FAM trips, networking gatherings, and national/international trade shows
Support the development of annual Sales & Marketing Plans
Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across the portfolio
Bring forward creative, data-driven commercial ideas to support revenue growth
