Vacature Construction Superintendent in Terneuzen

Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry.
We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

• Shall be required to undertake duties as requested by the Construction Manager.
• Shall display Leadership and work within an Integrate Owner/EPCm) Team and Construction
• Contractors to achieve Project objectives.
• Shall be responsible and accountable to review, comment, and approve construction execution and related procedure specifications, and deliverables prepared by the EPCm.
• Contractor and Construction Contractors.
• Construction Superintendent shall act as an ambassador and lead by example on all INEOS.
• HSE live saving rules and ensure a safe working environment within the construction areas
• The Construction Superintendent shall support the Construction Manager on matters related to site technical decisions to better achieve flawless construction execution and transition to commissioning.
• A dynamic role requiring the Construction Superintendent to demonstrate capacity to take workload, work with accuracy, be inventive and have the ability to multi-task. across multi construction disciplines.
• Working effectively within established procedures and participates in all important meetings
and workshops as required by Construction Manager (e.g. weekly and monthly meetings.
• Constructability, Construction and Completion Sequence Reviews).
• Strong ability to influence others who are not in his direct control to achieve Project objectives.
• Bring solutions and provide support to the Construction Manager but not generate “micromanagement” or unnecessary works to the Construction Contractors.
• Be inventive to bring technical and execution solutions that favour safe construction xecution
and transition to commissioning activities.
• Facilitate periodic meetings with the EPCm Contractor and Construction contractors as required by the Construction Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Construction Manager.
• Manage ad-hoc requests related to project operational and project logistics activities.

• Technical background as a Civil Discipline Engineer, Project Field Engineer, or Construction Superintendent, with solid Project Execution experience.
• More than fifteen (15) years in Project Execution, with a strong background in construction
• management of large green field construction activities.
• Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology and systems completion
management.
• Experience with multi-cultural type Projects.
• Good understanding of English in speaking and writing and by preference fluent in Dutch.
