  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding all operational inquiries and issues, providing assistance and solutions as needed.
  • Oversee the proper reception of drivers and ensure the smooth processing of all administrative tasks related to incoming and outgoing goods, including customs documentation.
  • Manage the scheduling and coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
  • Provide information and guidance to customers about the various types of shipments available, helping them choose the best option for their needs.

Functieomschrijving

Our hirer is currently seeking a Customer Service and Planning Representative to join their dynamic team in Venlo. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for acting as the main point of contact for customers, addressing operational inquiries, and providing solutions to any issues that arise. The role also involves coordinating the planning of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled smoothly, including the management of customs documentation. As part of the customer service team, the representative will work closely with customers to provide information and advice regarding various shipment options and logistics services.

Functie-eisen
  • MBO+ working and thinking level
  • Knowledge of forwarding, transport, and logistics
  • Experience with commercial administrative tasks
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in working with office applications
  • Knowledge of logistics automation packages and warehouse management systems
  • Verbal and communication skills in English. Dutch, German or any other language is a plus.
  • You have good social and communication skills, persuasiveness, and good problem-solving abilities
  • Additionally, you are customer-oriented and know how to take action

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility in working times between 06:00 – 18:00 depending on the shift, 8 hours daily.
  • A good salary based on your experience 
  • Weekly payment/ 4 weekly payment
