For the Quality & Compliance department at Numidia's headquarters in Herten (Roermond), the Netherlands, Numidia is looking for a Customs Specialist.

Job Description
As Customs Specialist, you'll ensure that our trade operations comply with customs, ethical, and sustainability standards. You train staff on internal compliance procedures and stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in trade and customs.
- Ensure all import and export activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and international trade agreements;
- Ensure compliance with the AEO regulations;
- Monitor changes in trade laws and update company policies accordingly.
- Handle classification of goods using Harmonized System (HS) codes;
- Part of the internal audit team and participate in announced/ non-announced external audit for customs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International business, or a related field;
- Proven in-depth knowledge and/or experience in international trade compliance;
- Deep understanding of sustainability standards and practices (ISO 14001, Ecovadis, SMETA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
