Your role as a Cyber Security Officer EU
The Cyber Security Officer EU role is focused on the implementation of NewCold's cyber security framework with respect to local laws and regulations.
What will you do?
- Perform audit and security checks
- Perform cyber risk assessments on new, and existing infrastructure and systems
- Research Cyber Security enhancements and make recommendations to management
- Stay up to date on emerging technology trends and security standards
- Monitor and tailor cyber threat intel feeds to NewCold specific
- Offer security subject matter expertise during design and implementation of new security products, policies, and procedures
- Monitor and ensure effectiveness of security policies
- Pro-actively support NewCold Business with IR planning and BCP framework implementation
- Participate in audit and project management activities as required
- Provide security and risk consultancy on a range of IT and business projects, ensuring they are delivered with Cyber Security by Design
- Be a trusted partner for the NewCold business stakeholders like Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Business Development, Projects and Regional Management
- Support cyber-security training and awareness within the region to increase staff security awareness
- Develop and maintain a network of Cyber Security communities both governmental and non-governmental
- Develop and maintain a regional Cyber Security community with peers of our customers
- Be the expert on laws and regulations regarding Cyber Security in the EU-region
- Act as the 'commander on scene' during cyber security incidents
Who are we looking for?
You have:
- Minimum education: HBO or Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
- 4-7 years of relevant experience for this role
- License / Certification / Qualification: ISO 27001 Lead auditor, CISSP, CISM, ECIH, DVMS Cyber Resilience (NIST) Or equivalent
- Profound knowledge of IT and OT security
- Problem solving
- Strategic thinking
- Flexible & steady
- Management skills and experience in the context of international teams
- Willingness to business travel (EU)
- Professional English any other European language is a plus
