About the vacancy
The Cyber Security Officer is the extension of the VP Global Cyber Security when it comes to the implementation of NewCold's cyber security strategy in the EU region. The Cyber Security Officer will be focussing on making sure that our systems in both IT and OT environment are protected in the most effective and cost-efficient way and are compliant with NewCold policies and standards.
What will you do?
- Perform audit and security checks
- Research Cyber Security enhancements and make recommendations to management
- Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards
- Monitor and develop relevant threat intelligence feeds
- Offer security subject matter expertise during design and implementation of new security products, policies, and procedures
- Monitor and ensure effectiveness of security policies
- Pro-actively support NewCold Business with IR planning and BCP framework implementation
- Participate in audit and project management activities as required
- Provide security and risk consultancy on a range of IT and business projects, ensuring they are delivered with Cyber Security by Design
- Be a trusted partner for the NewCold business stakeholders like Technology, Operations, Human Resources and Business Development
- Support cyber-security training and awareness within the region to increase staff security awareness
- Develop and maintain a network of Cyber Security communities both governmental and non-governmental
- Develop and maintain a regional Cyber Security community with peers of our customers
- Be the expert on laws en regulations regarding Cyber Security
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor or Master degree
- 5-10 yrs relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- (Social) Networking skills
- Tech and Business minded
- Profound knowledge of Cyber Security Market
- Innovative and problem solving
- Steady and stress resistant
- Profound knowledge of local laws and legislations
- Profound knowledge of IT and OT security
- Strategic thinking
- Management skills and experience in the context of international teams
- Willingness to business travel (EU)
- GSLC
- Drivers' license B, CISSP, CISM, GCIH or willing to acquire these
