Functieomschrijving

For a great client in Almere, I am looking for an experienced Demand Planner for a fulltime position.

As a Demand Planner, you are responsible for creating reliable sales forecasts based on your analyses, while also factoring in unknown factors. You ensure accurate forecasts across different departments and align them effectively. Additionally, you prepare demand plans and related reports and work on continuously improving the forecasting process. Your data analysis is presented clearly and comprehensively in reports for management, enabling decisions to be based on accurate figures.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Keeping suppliers and departments informed of monthly requirements based on SKU (compared to a 12-month forecast);
  • Participating in (customer) meetings to improve and streamline demand forecasts;
  • Maintaining contact with various internal departments, such as production, planning, finance, etc.;
  • Ensuring that the supply chain and customer service teams process customer orders according to agreed KPIs and that exceptions are addressed promptly.

The ideal candidate for this role has experience in a similar position, has strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational and management skills. Given the international culture of this company, it is essential that you have an excellent command of English, as this is the working language within the organization. Ideally, you live in Almere or ’t Gooi area and are available for a new position at short notice.
