In het hart van het stadscentrum ligt Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam. Het hotel is het eerste vijfsterrenhotel in Amsterdam en dateert uit de gouden eeuw. Drie eeuwen lang heeft het hotel onderdak geboden aan koninklijke en legendarische gasten zoals keizerin Elisabeth van Oostenrijk en de Beatles. De Nachtwacht van Rembrandt werd geschilderd om in het hotel te worden tentoongesteld.De 81 onlangs gerenoveerde kamers zijn ingericht in klassieke kleuren; een mix van crème en rood met gouden accenten. Van standaard kamers tot vorstelijke suites, elke kamer combineert een strakke vormgeving met luxe verwennerij.Ons dagelijkse ontbijtbuffet biedt een inspirerend scala aan smaken, waaronder lokale specialiteiten, glutenvrije opties en op verzoek bereide warme gerechten. Job Description
Your Key Contributions to Memorable Stays As a Doorman you are the first impression for our guests visiting the hotel. Therefore, it is important that you are always smiling to make sure that our guest feel immediately at home. Arriving guests are welcomed by you and directed to our reception desk for check in. You are responsible for the coordination of arriving and leaving guests as well as the coordination of taxis. In addition you make sure that our main entrance is always nice and tidy which gives our guest the best first impression.
In this position you are a part of our Front Office team. Our Doorman also assist with the rooming of our guests and taking care of our VIP's. Within this team you make sure that we give our guests a special and extraordinary stay. With your alert attitude you always know what is going on at the main entrance and lobby area and how to exceed the expectations of our guests.

- Enthusiasm and motivation to give guests an outstanding first impression of Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam.
- Willingness to help the guests and exceed their expectations.
- Service-minded and a passion for hospitality.
- Preferably working experience in a hotel.
- Flexibility regarding shifts, day/evening and night.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language, Dutch is a plus.
