As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of complex defence systems. You are responsible for delivering electrical engineering solutions that meet technical specifications, timelines, and budget requirements. Your focus will be on all electrical hardware aspects of armored vehicles and related systems.
Your work will range from designing cable routing for new vehicles and integrating camera systems to selecting alternative electrical components. You translate extensive system requirements into practical, manufacturable electrical designs.
You will review technical reports, perform various tests, and create design documentation, interface drawings, and calculations using specialized engineering software. Depending on the project, you will work independently, together with other Electrical Engineers, or under the guidance of an Engineering Project Leader (EPL).
In addition, you will collaborate with suppliers for prototyping and technical documentation. Due to the international nature of the organization, you will work closely with colleagues in Ede as well as with engineers from other international locations. You will report to the Engineering Manager or Team Lead.
