Hoewel het concept om een Holiday Inn Express hotel te combineren met extra merksuites de afgelopen tien jaar steeds populairder is geworden bij reizigers in Noord-Amerika en Azië, is dit de eerste ondertekening van IHG's uitgebreide Holiday Inn Express merkconcept in Europa.Het 99-key Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer zal bestaan uit 83 standaard kamers plus 16 suites, het eerste aparthotel in de regio. Hoewel elke suite een kitchenette, woonruimte en apart slaapgedeelte heeft om tegemoet te komen aan reizigers die langer blijven, kunnen gasten toch profiteren van de ruimere faciliteiten van het hotel, waaronder het gratis Express StartTM ontbijt.Met uitgebreide parkeergelegenheid, de locatie aan de rand van Deventer langs de A1, die Nederland met Duitsland verbindt, en de nabijheid van buslijn 6, met aansluitende treinverbindingen door heel Europa, is het hotel gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Dankzij deze geweldige vervoersverbindingen zijn Amsterdam en de Duitse grens elk minder dan een uur rijden, terwijl vijf internationale luchthavens allemaal binnen 90 minuten rijden te bereiken zijn.Het Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer ligt ook naast het bedrijventerrein De Weteringen, waar een mix van ingenieursbureaus, productiebedrijven en logistieke dienstverleners naar verwachting de vraag van bedrijven naar de mogelijkheden voor een verlengd verblijf zal stimuleren. Op het terrein bevinden zich ook een tankstation, een carpoolplaats en een restaurant.

As a Food & Beverage Trainee at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts you´ll gain hands-on experience, not only providing excellent service in our F&B areas but also showing off your kitchen talents by preparing simple yet delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer, is managed by Vertiq Hospitality Partners, formerly known as Cycas Hospitality, established in 2008. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in the day-to-day operations of the bar & restaurant to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, standards and aiming at satisfying and exceeding our guest's expectations.
- Taking, preparing, and serving orders varying from cocktails, coffees to dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to our hotel standards.
- Making sure that all servicing & kitchen equipment are clean, well maintained and meet all hygiene, health and safety regulations paying special attention to possible health hazards and code violations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the fridges, dishes and overall bar and restaurant furniture.
- Collaborate with front office to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
