FunctieomschrijvingAs a Financial Accountant in Maastricht, you will join a growing team. You support an international finance department. You are responsible for preparing and reporting monthly financial statements. You work accurately according to IFRS guidelines and company policy. This is a full-time job, 38 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Your day starts between 08:00 and 09:00 and ends between 16:00 and 17:00. You have fixed tasks and working hours.
Your workday includes preparing and reconciling balance sheet accounts. You manage general ledger accounts in the ERP system. You prepare and process accruals and provisions. You execute month-end closings according to a fixed schedule. You support local finance teams and auditors with financial information. You spot recurring issues and help find solutions. You contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives.

Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts;
- Manage general ledger accounts within the ERP system;
- Prepare and process accruals and provisions;
- Execute month-end closing activities according to established timelines;
- Support local finance teams and external auditors with financial information and documentation;
- Identify financial discrepancies and recurring issues, and contribute to effective solutions;
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support quality enhancement projects.
Functie-eisen- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or Financial Accounting
- Good understanding of IFRS standards and financial reporting processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Accurate, analytical, and detail-oriented working style
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, auditors, and stakeholders across different countries

Arbeidsvoorwaarden- Fixed salary of €3,229 gross per month based on a 38-hour workweek
- Full-time position (38 hours per week) in a day-shift schedule
- Stable working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, up to €18 per day
- Full reimbursement of public transport costs up to €36.80 per day
