You will join a large food production site that supplies supermarkets throughout the Netherlands with meat products and ready-to-eat meals. The entire process, from preparation to packaging, is done on one location using modern equipment and strict quality systems.

Despite the size of the company, the atmosphere is open and down-to-earth. New colleagues are properly trained, people help each other, and there are real opportunities to move up into positions such as team leader or technical support.

As a Food Production Operative, you are part of the team that brings food products from preparation to final packaging. Instead of running machines, your focus is on the actual production work: handling products, checking quality, packing, and keeping the process moving.

Your day consists of tasks such as:

• Preparing and positioning products on the production line;
• Filling trays, containers or packaging;
• Checking weight, appearance and quality;
• Sealing, labeling and stacking finished goods;
• Cleaning and resetting your workstation between production runs.

Good to know:
The meat is delivered already processed. There is no slaughtering, no blood and no disturbing scenes. You work in a clean factory where structure, safety and teamwork come first.

The working temperature is between 5 and 15°C, which is standard for safe food production. You receive protective clothing and full training before you start.

Shift options
You can choose how you want to work:

• Day shift
  06:30 – 15:30, including a 1-hour break. You are paid 8 hours per day. Weekly hours are usually between 36 and 40.
• 2-shift rotation
  You rotate weekly between 06:30 – 15:30 and 15:30 – 00:30. All hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00 receive a 31.5% shift premium.

• A practical, hands-on attitude and a willingness to work;
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus, but not required;
• The ability to follow instructions and work accurately;
• Comfort with working in a cooled production environment;
• Living in or near Delft;
• Basic communication skills in English and/or Dutch.

• Up to €18.58 per hour in day shift (€2,900 per month based on 36 hours);
• 31.5% extra pay for evening and night hours in 2-shift rotation;
• Extra allowances for hygiene, cold environment and changing clothes;
• 24 vacation days, 8% holiday pay and pension from day one;
• Travel allowance €0.23 per km (from 10 km one way);
• 3.25% end-of-year bonus;
• A stable 36-hour workweek and a strong chance of a permanent contract.
