Over Park Plaza EindhovenIn 1989 is het allereerste Park Plaza hotel geopend in Eindhoven. Park Plaza Eindhoven ligt in het hart van de stad en op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het Centraal Station. Het vier-sterren hotel bied naast de 104 ruime en moderne kamers en suites ook een fitnesscentrum, een groot verwarmd binnenzwembad, twee sauna's en vier vergaderzalen voor groepen tot 75 personen. Feel the authentic. Park Plaza Eindhoven offers 104 stylish rooms and suites in the heart of the City of Light, within walking distance of Central Station, Van Abbemuseum, and Strijp, the hotel is ideal for business trips and weekend escapes.
As a Front Office Host(ess), you will ensure guests feel welcome and cared for throughout their stay by delivering warm, attentive service at every interaction. The position manages arrivals, departures, and guest requests while maintaining a well-organised front desk environment and plays a key part in ensuring guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and adherence to service standards, while also supporting cross-departmental collaboration when needed.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, contributing to a positive team environment and consistent service delivery
- Manage the guest journey, including check-ins, check-outs, and all guest requests across phone, written, and face-to-face communication
- Handle reservations, payments, and front office administrative tasks accurately
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk environment in line with brand standards
- Collaborate with other departments such as housekeeping and food and beverage to ensure smooth daily operations
Essential Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
- Good level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Guest-focused mindset with a proactive and responsible approach
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in Front Office or guest-facing hospitality roles
- Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS)
- Knowledge of Eindhoven or willingness to develop local expertise
- Dutch or any additional language skills; is an advantage
- Experience handling guest requests and service recovery
