Park Plaza Utrecht offers a modern and stylish stay in the heart of the city, ideally located near Utrecht Central Station and within easy reach of the historic city centre, making it perfect for both business and leisure guests.
As a Front Office Host(ess) Intern (with F&B exposure), you will be the face of the hotel and play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences. While your main focus will be at the Front Office, you will also gain valuable exposure within our Food & Beverage outlets, allowing you to develop a well-rounded understanding of hotel operations.
The internship starts in September 2026 and offers a full-time learning experience aligned with your study requirements
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, contributing to a positive team environment and consistent service delivery
- Support the guest journey, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest requests across phone, written, and face-to-face communication
- Assist with reservations, payments, and front office administrative tasks
- Gain hands-on experience within Food & Beverage operations, supporting service where needed
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment in both Front Office and F&B areas in line with brand standards
- Collaborate with departments such as housekeeping and food and beverage to ensure smooth daily operations
Essential Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a hospitality or related study programme
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop across departments
- Guest-focused mindset with a positive and professional approach
- Enjoys working in a team and adapting to different operational environments
- Available for an internship of at least 5-6 months
- Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands
Preferred Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage
- Interest in both Front Office and Food & Beverage operations
- Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS) is a plus
- Dutch or any additional language skills; is an advantage
- Willingness to learn and develop operational knowledge across departments

The internship allowance of €550 gross per month (full-time), which is above the Horeca CAO BOL guidelines
