Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol AirportCorendon Hotels & Resorts opende in april 2018 een bijzonder project: Corendon Village Amsterdam. Dit hotel bevindt zich in Badhoevedorp, met uitzicht op luchthaven Schiphol. Het unieke hotelconcept wordt gekenmerkt door drie afzonderlijke hotelvleugels met hun eigen bijzonderheden. De drie vleugels – Plaza, Apartments & Urban – bieden samen meer dan 680 kamers, suites, studio's en appartementen. Daarmee is Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport een van de grootste hotels van de Benelux.Ons hotel ligt op een toplocatie tussen luchthaven Schiphol en het bruisende hart van Amsterdam – ideaal voor zowel zakenreizigers als vakantiegangers. Gasten kunnen bij ons volop genieten: van diverse restaurants, waaronder een uitgebreid all you can eat-restaurant, tot onze spectaculaire skybar met uitzicht over Schiphol. Voor long stay gasten en expats is er Apartments, met 298 volledig ingerichte serviced studios en appartementen. Samen vormen deze drie vleugels Corendon Village: een veelzijdig hotelconcept waar alle gasten gebruikmaken van de uitgebreide faciliteiten binnen dit ‘dorp'.Wie zijn wij?Corendon Hotels & Resorts werd opgericht in 2014 en is sindsdien uitgegroeid tot een internationale innovatieve en snelgroeiende hotelketen met vestigingen in Amsterdam en op populaire Europese vakantiebestemmingen. Wij combineren gastvrije, persoonlijke service met slimme hotelontwikkeling op strategische locaties. Sinds 1 december 2023 maken wij deel uit van Marriott International, waarmee we nu ook aangesloten zijn bij het wereldwijde Marriott Bonvoy-netwerk. Join the Corendon Family as our new Hotel ManagerWe are looking for a strong, hands-on leader who ensures that all hotel operations run smoothly and efficiently every single day.
As Hotel Manager, you oversee multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Spa and ensure seamless communication and teamwork between them.You are the right hand of the General Manager, translating strategy into action. You monitor service quality, profitability, and operational performance while maintaining Marriott's high brand standards. With a sharp eye for detail and a people-first mindset, you guarantee both guest satisfaction and staff engagement.You lead by example: visible on the floor, approachable to your teams, and quick to act when challenges arise. You coach department heads, support their growth, and inspire them to deliver excellence every day, for every guest.What does the role involve?As Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee all daily hotel operations and ensure smooth collaboration between departments
- Support and coach department heads and teams to reach operational excellence
- Ensure the highest quality and service standards across all areas of the hotel
- Monitor budgets, costs, and performance indicators, ensuring profitability and efficiency
- Lead operational meetings and drive follow-up on action points
- Implement and maintain Marriott and Corendon brand standards
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager on strategic projects and continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- You have proven experience in hotel operations or management roles within hospitality
- You are organized, structured, and solution-oriented
- You communicate clearly and inspire others through leadership and enthusiasm
- You are flexible, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic international environment
- You lead by example and are passionate about teamwork and guest satisfaction
- You speak fluent English; Dutch is a plus
