Opened in 1975 as the first Marriott in Europe, the hotel blends a prime location with contemporary interiors, offering an ideal address for exploring Amsterdam. The hotel also features 11 flexible meeting and event spaces with natural daylight, including our Grand Ballroom and studios.Guests can enjoy premium dining at Midtown Grill, one of Amsterdam's top steak restaurants, as well as Bar TWLV, our cosmopolitan bar offering globally inspired dishes, creative cocktails and a day-to-night atmosphereWhat are your responsibilities?Join our team as a detail-oriented and collaborative Housekeeping Supervisor. Your role will involve inspecting guest rooms and public areas, ensuring cleanliness meets our high standards. You'll run sold room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning, and update departing guest room statuses. Act as a liaison, coordinating efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms, communicate changes in assignment sheets, and assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating employees. Strong communication skills, paperwork accuracy, and the ability to work with various departments are vital. Join us in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
