Job Description
For our lovely hotel Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam, we are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor! WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING AS A HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR? Regarding the role, it is as the job title says really, you are responsible for providing the most unique experience in the area, leading your team to success. It's a physical role and although there are the usual meetings, briefings and of course emails to check, you will be on your feet most of the day out and about chatting with your guests and your team, so fitness will be key for you, although reasonable adjustments will be made where we can. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you are prepared and able to work the different shifts, willing to work in both mornings and evenings, weekdays and weekends. You like structure, so we have listed a few of your responsibilities:
- You train and support the Housekeeping team to ensure operation runs smoothly
- You are handling guest feedback, always looking for solutions
- You make sure the team has a proper start of the day by supervising the inventory
- You are a leader, giving instructions, directions and feedback about the progress and quality of the tasks
- In absence of the Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for the Housekeeping department on shift
