This hotel is your new luxury home in Amsterdam.What You Will Be Doing:As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will work closely with an external cleaning company and manage the department alongside the Housekeeping Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all housekeeping activities, ensuring that all team members comply with the company's quality standards. You will ensure that all areas of the hotel are maintained in an orderly and clean manner, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for all housekeeping activities to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness in both guest rooms and public areas
- Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and behind-the-scenes areas to ensure cleanliness
- Oversee room mini-bars and tea/coffee facilities
- Update room statuses in Opera to ensure the Front Office team has accurate data
- Lead, motivate, and foster a positive working atmosphere for the housekeeping team
- Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are addressed promptly, efficiently, and in a friendly manner
- Prepare work schedules, taking each team member's skills into account, while adhering to budgetary guidelines
- Log and control lost & found items to ensure they are properly stored and handled

Job Requirements
We Want Individuals Who:
- Have a minimum of two years' experience in Housekeeping Supervision in hospitality field or similar industry
- Speak English (additional languages are a plus)
- Have experience in public contact or customer service positions
- Have enthusiastic and positive thinking
- Are flexible and adaptable to change
