Are you ready to make an impact in a fast-growing international scale-up in the field of sports nutrition and dietary supplements? Do you have a commercial drive, a natural interest in health and nutrition, and the ambition to help grow international markets? Then this opportunity as International sales manager in sports nutrition could be your next step!


In this strategic sales role, you are the commercial link between international customers and the organisation. You’ll work closely with the founder and CEO to shape and execute the international commercial strategy, with a primary focus on business development in the UK and Germany, followed by expansion into the US, France, and the Benelux.

You act as the main point of contact for international customers, primarily representing the Belgian production site, while strategically aligning with the German plant when their specific strengths complement the project.


Your responsibilities:


  • International Prospecting: Identify and convert new business opportunities in key markets (with a focus on the UK and Germany)
  • Account Management: Build and manage strong client relationships; prepare offers and contracts
  • Strategic Partner: Contribute to discussions on pricing, margins, and market positioning
  • Representation: Represent the companies at trade fairs, industry events, and customer visits
  • Product Affinity: Understand the value of ingredients, formulations, and production options – no technical expertise required, but a genuine interest in nutrition is essential
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare structured reports, including KPIs and market trends
  • Capacity Planning: Coordinate customer needs with production capabilities across sites

Functie-eisen

Your Profile:


  • Languages: Fluent in English and German. Dutch and French are a plus
  • Affinity: You’re interested in sports nutrition, health products, and modern food innovation
  • Experience: At least 3–4 years in international B2B sales, preferably in dietary supplements, packaging, or private label manufacturing
  • Skills:
    • Strong client management and commercial instincts
    • Financial awareness: familiar with cost pricing and margins
    • Persuasive communicator and strategic thinker
    • Flexible and patient: understands the long sales cycles in this industry
    • Willing to travel regularly across Europe
    • Highly organized and independent in planning and reporting
    • Leadership potential: ready to take ownership and step in for the CEO when needed
