The company specializes in making pet food and offers a clean, highly automated work environment. The work atmosphere is informal, with colleagues working together in a friendly manner. There are approximately 70 employees at the Ittervoort location. Ittervoort is one of the locations where production is run to make the pet food. Due to growth within the organization, they are looking for long-term reinforcement! 

The organization is easily accessible from cities such as Roermond, Weert, Venlo, Peel en Maas and Sittard-Geleen. The company is accessible by car, there are plenty of (free) parking spaces available on location. In addition, there is a bus stop located on the business park, so depending on where you live it is also possible to travel to the location by Public Transport.

Do you have an eye for quality and are you looking for a varied job? As a (junior) quality employee you are responsible for setting up, maintaining and improving the quality system. You ensure that the products meet the highest quality standards, legal requirements and the expectations of our customers. As a central link within the quality network, you work closely with colleagues from production, product development (PD) and QA. You identify and discuss deviations immediately and take proactive measures to ensure food safety. In this position you report to the QA manager and support QC colleagues where necessary.

A varied and dynamic work environment in which you operate independently and can put your analytical skills to full use. You play an active role in carrying out hygiene audits and daily quality and hygiene checks. In doing so, you make an essential contribution to continuously striving for optimal quality and food safety.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

• You analyze blockages, customer complaints and process deviations and convert them into structural improvement measures;
• You conduct internal and external audits, inspections and tests and actively identify improvement opportunities;
• You collect and analyze data to identify trends and initiate improvement processes;
• You carefully record test results and quality activities and report them to management;
• You develop and implement QA protocols and ensure compliance within the organization;
• You set up training sessions and provide education on quality standards and practices.

It is a day shift position, Monday through Friday (you will start somewhere between 7:00 and 8:00, depending on your preference). It involves approximately 70% administrative work and 30% on the production floor.

• Most importantly, you have a passion for quality and analytical ability; 
• In addition, you have experience/affinity with a production environment, preferably in the food industry; 
• You are proficient in Dutch and English;
• Training/certification in the field of quality is a nice advantage.

• A competitive salary, depending on knowledge and experience. This comes down to a salary between €2400 and €3000 gross per month; 
• A year-end bonus of 6%, on top of your hourly wage; 
• You can earn an extra performance bonus for achieving team targets. This can amount to a maximum of €1,224, - per year; 
• With good performance, we offer you a permanent contract; 
• Travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometer (from 10 kilometers), with a maximum of €217 per month;
