Your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be centered around driving internal tool adoption while measuring the positive impact on win rates and project execution, ensuring our continued success in the competitive market landscape.

As a Data Science Developer within the PX Cognitive Science Group, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing high-quality software that aligns seamlessly with user needs and overarching business objectives, from efficient code writing to thorough debugging and testing.
• Collaborating closely with fellow team members, including data scientists, PX researchers, and end-users, to ensure holistic project success.
• Facilitating code reviews and actively soliciting constructive feedback from peers to enhance code quality.
• Assisting in the seamless implementation and integration of developed software into existing systems, guaranteeing optimal functionality.
• Leveraging your analytical prowess and problem-solving acumen to surmount developmental and implementation hurdles.
• Thoroughly documenting your work to ensure transparency and facilitate understanding among stakeholders.

To excel in this role, you should possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the realm of data science and software development. Armed with a robust statistical skill set and a deep proficiency in the Python language, you effortlessly navigate through complex algorithms and methodologies. Agility and pragmatism are your allies, enabling you to adapt swiftly to evolving methodologies while staying relentlessly focused on tangible results. Your capacity to swiftly grasp domain-specific knowledge sets you apart, as does your unwavering passion to effect meaningful change.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python, particularly within the context of data science.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, including wrapping and distribution.
• A nuanced understanding of statistical concepts to interpret test output effectively.
• Demonstrated learning agility, coupled with a relentless drive for results, creativity, and problem-solving.
• A strategic and innovative mindset, capable of conceptualizing and managing long-term programs aligned with business objectives.
• Ability to work autonomously on assigned tasks with minimal managerial oversight.
• Fluent in English, possessing exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

Required Experience:

• 2-3 years' experience in data science and software development, with a focus on Python.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields emphasizing software development, data structures, and algorithms.
• Expertise in data science, programming, and software development & distribution within the Python ecosystem.
