Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical, IT and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

Functieomschrijving
• Diagnoses and corrects equipment problems. • Calibrates and aligns equipment. • Completes preventative maintenance activities. • Checks sizing of components and parts. • Specifies, requisitions, and installs parts and equipment. • Coordinates maintenance spare parts. • Assists in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance through planner, work coordinator and operations input. • Sets up and calibrates, tests, measures and repairs all types of controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables. • Repairs, maintains and installs equipment and machinery which is used in the process. • Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions and documents failure analysis. • Collects equipment operation and history data to facilitate reliability improvements. • Works within established Maintenance Work Processes and helps resolve issues that surface as a result of planning and scheduling work. In addition to the tasks mentioned above, you master all basic techniques required for repairing rotating equipment: • Bearing technology, mechanical seals, measurement techniques, alignment, and load rigging/lifting techniques • Always applies the correct repair procedures • Using the above basic techniques, you are able to independently repair the following types of rotating equipment: single-stage centrifugal pumps, multistage centrifugal pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, small steam turbines, positive displacement pumps, and gearboxes

Functie-eisen
• You have a technical MBO level 4 diploma, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, OR you have an MBO level 3 diploma with at least 3 years of relevant work experience • Experience in maintenance is a plus, but not required • You are fluent in Dutch; knowledge of the English language is a plus • In receipt of VCA-VOL certificate or willing to obtain this certification (Nouvall will cover the costs)
