Over Park Plaza EindhovenIn 1989 is het allereerste Park Plaza hotel geopend in Eindhoven. Park Plaza Eindhoven ligt in het hart van de stad en op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het Centraal Station. Het vier-sterren hotel bied naast de 104 ruime en moderne kamers en suites ook een fitnesscentrum, een groot verwarmd binnenzwembad, twee sauna's en vier vergaderzalen voor groepen tot 75 personen. Job Description
At Park Plaza Eindhoven, the hotel is more than a place to stay , it is a dynamic environment where hospitality, leadership, and commercial thinking come together. Located in the heart of the city, our hotel operates at a fast pace, welcoming international guests while continuously striving to improve performance, quality, and guest experience.
As a Management Assistant Intern, you will be positioned at the heart of the hotel operation. Working closely with the General Manager and department heads, this internship offers real exposure to leadership, decision making, and coordination within a professional hotel environment. You will gain hands on experience in leadership activities, hotel operations, and commercial initiatives while completing a leadership internship.
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in daily operations and leadership tasks, gaining insight into hotel wide decision making.
- Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and a consistent guest experience.
- Assist department heads with management activities such as administration, planning, scheduling, and quality checks.
- Contribute to improving commercial and operational performance by supporting sales initiatives, events, promotions, and new ideas.
- Actively participate in meetings, projects, and leadership activities as part of your internship program.
What we are looking for?
Essential requirements
- Registered with a recognized educational institution for a leadership or management internship.
- Currently in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor program, or enrolled in a Master program, preferably in Hospitality, Business, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Available for an internship duration of at least 5 months.
- Strong interest in leadership, hotel operations, and hospitality management.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a professional, proactive attitude.
Preferred requirements
- Previous internship or work experience in hospitality or a service driven environment.
- Interest in commercial performance, leadership development, and process improvement.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
