The Network Engineer's responsibilities include managing backup and disaster recovery systems, maintaining and upgrading hardware and software for network servers, monitoring and troubleshooting the virtual server (VMWare) environment, ensuring network security, and analyzing LAN/WAN. Additionally, the Network Engineer must deliver courteous and professional network support to all employees and clients in all locations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Developing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting networking equipment and systems.
  
• Collaboration with department heads to understand business specifications for changes, modifications, or new systems
  
• Regular analysis of the LAN/WAN is conducted to ensure optimal performance, and any issues are resolved. 
  
• Documentation of the functionality of the application(s) or system(s) 
  
• Managing and monitoring anti-virus systems, provides hands-on training to employees
  
• Supporting inter-connectivity between US and international locations, upholding network security measures
  
• Ensuring the 24/7 availability of all data on network servers
  
• Collaborating with employees to solve complex technical issues 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
  
• Min. 1 year of hands-on experience in an enterprise network environment
  
• Additionally, the candidate must possess technical skills/certifications relevant to the assigned systems and a minimum of four years of hands-on experience with backup/disaster recovery systems, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP 
  
• Two years of experience working with virtual environments 
  
• Fluent in English (written & oral)
  
• Valid driver’s license
  
• Troubleshooting skills
  
• Knowledge of network topology and remote access devices, the ability to write professional reports
  
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
  
• Detail-oriented
