You will guard the hotel when no one is there. Taking care of the guests needs and providing them with the best stay ever. From checking guests in to keeping an eye out to make sure everyone is safe, you can do it all! Together with a colleague you will rock the night shifts, since there is enough to do to make you stay awake! Destination: voco® The HagueCome on into an iconic former bank building where offices and ATMs have made way for a brand-new hotel. First impression? 204 elegantly furnished rooms, 7 floors and a warm welcome from your future team. Ready to land this part-time role?As a Night Receptionist, you'll make sure our guests feel welcome, safe, and taken care of during the night shift. Your main tasks include:
- Performing basic night audit tasks such as closing the day in our systems and preparing reports for departments.
- Following up on any small discrepancies from the night audit and communicating these to the right teams.
- Keeping our guests and colleagues safe by following security procedures and walking safety rounds through the hotel.
- Checking guests in and out, assisting with late-night requests, and ensuring smooth guest service.
- Preparing and delivering food and drinks from our limited night room service menu.
- Processing payments and posting expenses to guest accounts.
- Supporting the safe closing of the F&B outlets at night.
- Collaborating with colleagues to make sure all night procedures run smoothly.
- Helping out with ad-hoc duties when needed – we're a team, and sometimes we all pitch in.
Job Requirements
What we're looking for:
- Passion for hospitality and a guest-focused mindset.
- Experience in a night role within hospitality is a plus.
- Knowledge of PMS system Opera is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- A flexible, proactive, and team-player attitude.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English (other languages are always a bonus).
- A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence – living the voco™ spirit with pride and energy.
