As an order picker in Rotterdam-Albrandswaard, you have an active job. You work in the distribution center where large parcels arrive. These packages are heavier than 30 kilos or extra large. You sort and process them together with your colleagues. You work full-time in two shifts: from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM or from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Your day starts with a short handover. Then you get started scanning barcodes, checking goods, and loading and unloading heavy parcels. You use modern tools for this. Sometimes you work with one colleague on a shipment, sometimes with two. You work neatly and safely and help each other where necessary.
