Functieomschrijving
In this role, you ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly and stays well‑organized. You work full‑time (32–40 hours per week) and are responsible for collecting, checking and preparing medication orders for shipment. Using a handheld scanner, you follow clear instructions and make sure every product ends up in the right place. You work accurately, keep oversight and contribute to a clean and safe working environment.
A typical workday starts with checking incoming goods. After that, you begin collecting orders. You scan, pick, restock and make sure every order is processed quickly and correctly. You work closely with colleagues, support each other when needed and think along in solutions. The team is friendly, supportive and works together to keep the process running smoothly.
What will you be doing?
You work across three different areas in the warehouse:
Machine Refill
Using the handheld scanner, you receive tasks showing which locations in the machine need to be refilled. The stock is stored behind you in the racks. You pick the correct box of medication and refill the machine at the indicated location.
Machine Picking
At the machine, there are also products that need to be picked. The bins automatically arrive at your workstation. You scan the barcode, receive the order details, pick the correct quantities and place them in the bin. You then put the bin back on the conveyor so it can continue through the process.
Conveyor Picking Process
Bins arrive at your station via the conveyor. You scan the barcode and walk to the indicated location to pick the required quantities. This work is precise and physically active — you spend a lot of time walking and standing.
