The client supplies products and raw materials to professionals in the food sector. These include bread, pastries, chocolate and ice cream. Everything they need is in stock here.

Would you like to work in a modern warehouse with great colleagues, fixed working hours and an attractive salary? As an order picker in the food sector, you’ll ensure that customers receive their orders in full and on time. You’ll work with a voice-picking system and modern tools.
Together with your colleagues, you’ll start the day each morning short breefing and keep track of everything in the warehouse. You’ll then get to work picking products for bakers, chocolatiers and other professionals. Thanks to your thorough approach, the logistics process runs smoothly.

Your duties will include:

• Picking orders using an order-picking truck and a voice-picking system
• Checking and carefully stacking products
• Placing orders on roll containers behind the order-picking truck
• Preparing orders for transport
• Safely picking and moving products, ranging from small and fragile items to goods weighing up to 25 kg

You’ll work fixed shifts from Monday to Friday. The working day starts at 08:15 with a team meeting and finishes around 16:30. Occasionally, a rush order may come in at the end of the day. In that case, your working day may run a little over time. There’s a real ‘in it together’ spirit; everyone helps each other out so that the work is completed as quickly as possible.

You enjoy working as part of a team, are reliable and like to roll up your sleeves to work hard. You keep a clear overview, work accurately and help colleagues when needed.
In addition, you will have the following:

• A good command of Dutch or English
• The physical fitness to lift loads of up to 25 kg
• Experience in logistics work is an advantage
• Availability for at least four days a week on weekdays

These terms and conditions of employment are based on a 36-hour working week. You can therefore expect:

• A starting salary from €2,450 per month if you have no prior experience (this excludes any allowances)
• A cold and freezer allowance when working in these departments
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km
• 25 days’ annual leave
• 8% holiday pay
