As a parcel sorter in Amsterdam, you work at a modern logistics center. You work at least 24 and up to 40 hours per week, mainly during the evening and night. You make sure packages end up in the right place quickly and accurately. This job is great if you like physical work and want to work in a friendly team.
Your day starts by putting on your safety shoes. Then you start sorting incoming and outgoing parcels. You check labels and make sure each package is placed on the right conveyor belt or location. You work together with your colleagues and help each other to keep things running smoothly. The work is repetitive, but every day is different because of the variety of shipments.
