Established in 1956, we're proud to be the oldest cheese brand in the Netherlands.

From 1965 onwards, our organization transitioned from 30 affiliated cheese traders to one streamlined entity in 1999. Since September 2009, Uniekaas has operated from a single location in Kaatsheuvel, where all our delightful products are stored, aged, and processed.

In late 2017, Uniekaas Holland and the former DOC Dairy Partners merged. Today, the Uniekaas brand is part of Uniekaas Holland BV, under the umbrella of DMK, our parent company. Despite this, our cheese-making process remains traditional, following our own recipe and adhering to Gouda traditions. And that's a tradition we intend to uphold.

Presently, we're offering parttime roles (2-4 days per week) in 2-3 shifts, with a competitive hourly rate of €14.85. Plus, there are additional premiums of 30% to 40% for evening and night shifts! Keep reading for the full details!

What will your responsibilities be at Uniekaas?

• Ensuring cleanliness in your workspace and promptly reporting any issues or glitches to your supervisor.
• Placing 15 kg cheese blocks onto the conveyor belt;
• Packaging sliced cheese cubes;
• Assisting your colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

• Comfortable working with 15 kg cheese blocks;
• Based in or around Kaatsheuvel and able to commute independently, as public transport isn't available;
• Willing to work parttime, 3 to 4 days per week;
• Proficient in English and/or Dutch at an A2+ level;
• Available to work in 2 or 3 shifts;

We work in 3 shift system:
Morning: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm;
Evening: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm;
Night: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am.

• An hourly wage of €14.85 gross;
• Shift premiums of 130% (6:00 pm - 10:00 pm) and 140% (10:00 pm - 7:00 am) respectively for evening and night work;
• Travel reimbursement from 10 km onwards;
