All our delicious cheeses have been made according to original recipes for many years. The cheese masters at Uniekaas work every day to select the tastiest cheeses and age them with care. It's a highly precise job, as you can imagine.

The foundation for our flavorful quality cheese was laid in 1956, making us the oldest cheese brand in the Netherlands.

From 1965 onwards, our organization evolved from 30 affiliated cheese traders to one efficient organization in 1999. Since September 2009, Uniekaas has been operating from one location in Kaatsheuvel, where all our delightful products are stored, aged, and processed.

In late 2017, Uniekaas Holland and the former DOC Dairy Partners joined forces. Today, the Uniekaas brand is part of the corporate entity Uniekaas Holland BV, under the umbrella of the parent company DMK. However, our cheese-making process remains traditional, following our own recipe and the Gouda traditions. And that's something we'll always do.

At Uniekaas, we handle the cutting, packaging, and preparation of cheese before it is shipped to stores.

Are you comfortable lifting and moving 15 kg cheese blocks? Then we may have an exciting part-time opportunity for you!
Currently, we offer part-time positions (2-4 days per week) in 2-3 shifts, with a competitive salary of €14.85 per hour. Additionally, you'll receive a 30% to 40% shift premium for evening and night shifts! Keep reading for the full offer!

What does the role at Uniekaas entail?

• Keeping your workspace clean and promptly reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Placing 15 kg cheese blocks on the conveyor belt;
• Packing sliced cheese cubes;
• Assisting your colleagues to ensure a smooth process.

• You have no issue working with 15 kg cheese blocks;
• You reside in the vicinity of Kaatsheuvel and can commute independently, as public transportation is not available;
• You are willing to work part-time, 3 to 4 days a week;
• You have a proficiency level of English and/or Dutch at A2+ level;
• You can work in 2 or 3 shifts;

Uniekaas offers 3 shifts:
Morning: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm;
Evening: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm;
Night: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am.

• An hourly wage of €14.85 gross;
• Shift premiums for evening and night work of 130% (6:00 pm - 10:00 pm) and 140% (10:00 pm - 7:00 am) respectively;
• Travel reimbursement from 10 km onwards;
• Part-time work, with the possibility of full-time in the future;
