Vacature Piping designer in Terneuzen

Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry.
We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

The position will be based in Antwerp, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

In this role, you will be responsible to ensure quality and consistency of common piping deliverables
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure quality and consistency of common piping deliverables including; Isometrics and Piping GAs.
• Assure designs are ready for review and comments are correctly resolved.
• Understand discipline interfaces and how to influence impacts to the benefit of the project.
• Actively engages in the Piping comments on P&IDs.
• Ensure quality and consistency and ensuring that safety, operation, maintenance and construction requirements are incorporated.
• Execute 3D modeling in PDS, S3D Intergraph SW and PDMS / E3D Aveva.
• Provide checking activities on modelled Piping.
• Pipe Support Modeling according to the indications provided by the Stress Engineers.

• Technically qualified to Bachelors degree level in a relevant discipline, and/or a Technical Qualification.
• Detailed knowledge and proven application in all general piping design/layout aspects.
• Conversant in commonly used materials of construction, insulation and installed instruments.
• A thorough understanding of common equipment and capable of routing all major process and utility piping in accordance with P&IDs and project standards, including the impact of specific service conditions on piping design.
• Capability in undertaking piping layout in critical and novel plant areas.
• Fluent English Language, Dutch language knowledge is mandatory.
• Availability to assignment abroad.
