Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical, IT and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

Functieomschrijving
With the majority of the commissioning schedule already developed, this role focuses on optimizing remaining planning, coordinating system handovers, and supporting a safe and efficient start-up. The project is split into several construction work areas, each with their own construction management delivery team (including planning resources and schedules). All projects are well advanced in the construction phase (engineering is complete; and construction is more than 50%) and involve a variety of global EPC/EPCm contractors. Regular and transparent communication of commissioning progress, integration of multiple handover schedules, knowledge and control of critical paths for the startup are key factors of success. Schedule Finalization & Optimization • Refine and complete the existing commissioning schedule in Primavera P6. • Integrate late scope changes, vendor constraints, and punch list impacts. • Align commissioning activities with construction and startup teams. Execution Support • Develop detailed seven day and 3-week look-ahead schedules for field teams. • Monitor daily progress and identify potential bottlenecks. • Support system handovers and readiness reviews. Reporting & Analysis • Generate progress reports, S-curves, and critical path analyses. • Support KPI reporting and earned value tracking. • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Functie-eisen
Level of Education & General Experience • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Controls, or related field. • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial project scheduling, with significant commissioning exposure. • Experience in turnaround scheduling is advantageous. • Successful in Lead Planner position(s) for large project(s) in construction. • Thorough working knowledge of scheduling practices for major projects in commissioning phase. Technical Skills • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel. • Strong understanding of commissioning workflows, system handovers, and startup logic. • Familiarity with some or any of the following would be an advantage; HCS, Go Technology or EasyPlant commissioning/completion management system/ QA databases. Behavioural Skills • Team player. • Excellent communication and coordination skills. • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail. • Methodical working approach to large schedule formats. • Flexible and resilient in a dynamic project environment. Preferred Certifications: • Primavera P6 Advanced User
