Are you looking for a fun temporary job (until mid-January) in Alkmaar? Start working as a mail sorter and play an important role in the logistics process!

As a mail sorter, you ensure that all mail items are sorted on time, so that customers always receive their mail, letterbox packages, and printed materials on time. You'll process envelopes, letters, cards, magazines, journals, letterbox packages, advertising materials, and flyers.

The different shifts:

Morning shift: 📅 Working days: Tuesday to Saturday ⏰ Working hours: 06:00 to 09:30

Afternoon shift: 📅 Working days: Monday to Thursday ⏰ Working hours: 13:00 to 17:00

Afternoon/evening shift: 📅 Working days: Monday to Thursday ⏰ Working hours: 15:00 to 19:00

Are you reliable, accurate, and ready to start early? Then you fit perfectly within the PostNL Alkmaar team! We're looking for someone who gets energy from physical work and takes responsibility for a smooth sorting process.

What we ask from you:

• 🎂 You are at least 18 years old and ready to take responsibility
• 📅 You are available from Tuesday to Saturday from 06:00 to 09:30, and can flexibly work a bit longer during busy periods
• 💪 Physically fit, so you can lift heavy bins with mail and push roll containers
• 💬 You have a good command of Dutch and/or English, so you can easily collaborate and understand instructions
• 📦 You work accurately and structured, ensuring every mail item ends up in the right place
• 👟 Safety shoes required - no worries, we'll provide them
• 🚗 Own transport required - the location is not accessible by public transport
