Function description
Planning and implementation of international and interdisciplinary pricing projects
Conduction of complex analyses to identify and apply effective Pricing strategies tailored to individual international markets (countries)
Preparation of transparent evaluations and analyses of current developments and the associated derivation of recommendations for internal stakeholders and Management
Utilization of statistical modeling methods to assess the potential impact of Pricing strategies on profitability, competitive landscape, and customer shopping behavior
Reviewing and creation of transparency regarding systems, tooling, processes, measures, checks, feeds, data refresh
Fostering of strong cross-functional collaboration and relations by interacting with key stakeholders from different teams in operative and strategic pricing
Providing proactive support for decision-making on Pricing engine rules, identifying risks and potential improvements
Function Requirements
A completed University degree with a focus on business administration and analysis
Strong educational or practical background in areas like Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Professional experience in rule-based pricing, ideally in a retail / eCommerce environment
Excellent language skills in English both spoken and written (any other language skills in German , Dutch or French would be beneficial)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas and effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences
Ability to derive pragmatic business decisions, coupled with strong consulting skills
Very good Excel skills (including experience in setting up Excel tools) are a prerequisite
Understanding of programming languages such as SQL, Python, VBA, or R, is an advantage
