Organisation

You are an experienced Product Owner with a background in software development and know exactly what a technical team needs to deliver. At Tangelo Software, you play a key role in the further development of our new data integration platform. You will work closely with two internal developers and two external development partners. You have a direct impact on how the product evolves. What you build together helps large international organizations gain insight into their sustainability responsibilities, making your work both meaningful and relevant.

You will have the freedom to organize your workday in a way that suits you best, with a hybrid working model and plenty of room for initiative.

You will work two days per week from our office in Capelle aan den IJssel as part of a compact and multicultural team. You will act as the link between technology and product strategy for the platform. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with Robbert, our Product Manager, and three Product Owner colleagues responsible for our other products.

Tangelo Software is an international scale-up with sales offices in countries including Australia, South Africa, and Finland. We develop a SaaS platform that enables large (publicly listed) companies to publish their sustainability and annual reports in compliance with CSRD and IFRS regulations.

Job Description

You are an experienced Product Owner with a background in software development and know exactly what a technical team needs to deliver. At Tangelo Software, you play a key role in the further development of our new data integration platform. You will work closely with two internal developers and two external development partners. What you build together helps large international organizations gain insight into their sustainability responsibilities, making your work both meaningful and relevant.

You will have the freedom to organize your workday in a way that suits you best, with a hybrid working model and plenty of room for initiative.

You will guide the continued development of our sustainability platform, which is scheduled to go live at the end of June 2026. You will translate epics into clear user stories, maintain oversight of sprint planning, and ensure the team can keep moving forward. Thanks to your technical background, you understand what is needed to turn complex challenges into practical and workable solutions.

You will work closely with two internal developers, an external development team and collaborate directly with the Product Manager.

  • Translate epics into user stories. 
  • Structure and manage the product backlog. 
  • Participate in stand-ups, refinements, and sprint reviews. 
  • Identify and resolve blockers.
  • Align with the team and stakeholders on progress and product decisions.




Job Requirements

You have a strong background in software development and are an experienced Product Owner. You understand how technical teams operate, speak their language, and know what is required to deliver a successful product. You communicate easily with both internal and external stakeholders and maintain oversight in a dynamic environment.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner within a software development team. 
  • Experience managing external development teams. 
  • Familiar with Scrum and Agile methodologies. 
  • Fluent in English.




Salary and Benefits
  • Salary between €5,000 and €6,000 gross per month based on full-time employment. 
  • Company car or mobility allowance. 
  • Flexible working hours and the option to work from home up to 2 days per week. 
  • 28 vacation days per year based on full-time employment. 
  • Net representation allowance of €30 per month. 
  • Tax-free home office allowance of €2.40 per working day. 
  • Bonus scheme of up to 5% of your annual gross salary based on company performance. 
  • Company laptop and phone, including a SIM card or reimbursement of phone expenses. 
  • Pension plan with ASR.
