Functieomschrijving
As a reach truck driver in Venlo, you will work at a large logistics warehouse. You are responsible for the safe transport and storage of goods using a reach truck. You work full-time (40 hours) in 2 shifts: one week from 06:00 to 15:00, and the next week from 15:00 to 00:00. During busier periods, you may also work night shifts (21:00 to 06:00). You have a fixed schedule and receive a shift allowance for irregular working hours. This way, you always know where you stand, and your salary is paid every Wednesday.
Your working day starts with a short team briefing. After that, you receive your tasks and get to work in the warehouse. You load and unload pallets, ensure everything is stored in the correct place, and check stock levels. You work with a scanner and follow clear instructions. Together with your colleagues, you keep the warehouse clean and safe. Occasionally, you may work longer hours or in the weekend, especially during the high season. Reliability and flexibility are therefore important.
