Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre opende haar deuren in september 2006. Het hotel is gelegen aan het 'IJ' tussen de Passengers Terminal en het "Muziekgebouw". Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam is een modern 4 sterren hotel en biedt 408 luxe gastenkamers en 1000m2 Conferentieruimte verdeeld over 11 state of the art banquetzalen in het hotel. Onze gasten hebben ook toegang tot de Fitness & Wellness. Andere faciliteiten in het hotel zijn het restaurant dat plaats biedt aan 250 personen, een bar en roomservice. There's no limit to your capabilities. In addition, you will be:
  • Overseeing reservations across all our properties for accuracy and conduct regular audits to ensure rates, market segments, source codes, and notes are correctly applied, safeguarding data integrity and revenue optimization.
  • Managing the reservation systems proactively, maintaining up-to-date guest profiles, rate codes, allocations, and resolving duplicates to maximize system efficiency and accuracy.
  • Taking full accountability for completing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly checklists and reports with precision, delivering actionable insights to support departmental and revenue goals.
  • Enforcing adherence to hotel policies including cancellation, no-show, and credit protocols, maintaining compliance and minimizing operational risks.
  • Driving cross-departmental alignment by facilitating collaboration between Reservations, Front Office, Revenue Management, and other teams, ensuring unified strategies and smooth information flow.
 
In this position, you will work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. You are responsible for all the hotels of REVO Hospitality Group in the Netherlands and based in Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam.

You will work in a hotel that works together with the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, a total combined conference space of over 1900 m2, including 11 modern and spacious conference and directors' rooms. Through the emergence of ijVENUES, Amsterdam's new exhibition centre, everything only becomes bigger and better. On a lovely, sunny day, you can choose between a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute cycle ride from the central station. Or you can hop on the tram from the other side of our hotel. You know how to sell our products without being too obvious. Just subtle and pleasant for our guests. You do this using your enthusiasm, upselling, and negotiation skills. And your humour?   • A proactive and positive leadership attitude, with a genuine passion for driving exceptional customer service standards across all properties.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse reservations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Flexibility to support operational needs, including occasional work on Saturdays or travel to hotel locations as required.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English; additional languages such as Dutch are a strong advantage for effective regional communication.
  • Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with OPERA or similar Property Management Systems, with the ability to train staff and optimize system use for maximum efficiency.

  • a monthly gross salary of between €3.377 and €4.369 in accordance with scale 9 of the Collective Labour Agreement for the Dutch hospitality and catering industry.
  • a contract of 38 hours per week.
