The position: 

As a Consolidation Specialist you are responsible for making all necessary financial information available for business management and financial reporting purposes. In addition, you will guarantee the integrity and the efficient reporting of the financials based on accounting principles (IFRS), fiscal, statutory and legal regulations and in a way that they are complete, correct and according to the deadlines .

Key Responsibilities: 

• Management of month-end financial consolidation processes, monthly management reports, board reporting package 
• Efficient consolidation process, including reconciliation and elimination of intercompany balances 
• Consolidation of actual financial results and forecasts, covering P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow (incl. alignment with Group Treasury on Cashflow forecasts) 
• Assure the implementation of internal control according to the Group requirements 
• Act in a dynamic environment with contacts with internal stakeholders requiring convincing, inspiration and motivation of all these contacts in a good climate 
• Ensure implementation of QESH structures and systems 
• Develop, implement and manage cost effective and efficient consolidation and reporting working processes and systems, in order to enable optimal performance 

Functie-eisen
The Ideal: 

• At least 5- 8 years of proven affinity with financial consolidation and reporting 
• Bachelor’s degree which includes financial reporting (or similar level of experience). 
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS 
• Experience with Tagetik consolidation software is a plus 
• Able to communicate and adapt communication to various audiences – able to convince and understand decisionmakers’ motivation and incentives 
• On a mission to improve JV performance by helping, advising, and increasing knowledge with finance colleagues, the business as well as by helping to solve complex problems
