We are the first dual branded property in The Netherlands; 2 hotels operating in 1 building! Residence Inn by Marriott is an extended stay brand whereby our guests stay for longer periods of time. All rooms are suites with more living and working space than you would find in any other hotel room, including a fully equipped kitchen in every suite! Our guests want to Maximize their stay and we are here to help them do that; by offering grocery services, complimentary daily breakfast and of course refer them to the places to be in Amsterdam!

Job Description
RESERVATIONS AGENT (Part -time – 3 or 4 days a week)
We at Cycas Hospitality have a team of dedicated crew members that get to be their true selves so that they can deliver positively OUTRAGEOUS service! Be the first hello in a guest´s journey and the reason they can´t wait to check in. Step into the Reservations Agent role at Moxy & Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts. You´re the friendly first voice our guests hear, the one who makes booking a stay smooth and stress-free.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle all incoming reservations via phone, email, and online channels in line with Marriott standards.
- Process individual, corporate, and group bookings, ensuring accuracy of details and payment methods.
- Respond to guest inquiries, upsell rooms and packages, and promote hotel services to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with Sales & Revenue to monitor availability, rates, and special offers.
- Ensure accurate entry and management of reservations in the PMS and distribution systems.
- Communicate effectively with Front Office, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth arrivals and stays.
- Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with daily reports, forecasting, and revenue tracking when required.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU:
- Previous experience in Reservations or Front Office is preferred
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Dutch and other languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS and Marriott systems is highly desirable.
- Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Problem solving ability and stress resistance.
